Overview
This role involves leveraging deep financial modeling expertise to audit, refine, and improve AI-generated financial analysis tasks. The goal is to ensure these tasks accurately reflect the workflows and standards of professional financial analysts.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract position requiring strong US-based financial knowledge and fluency with American financial terminology and conventions.

Responsibilities
- Audit AI-generated financial modeling tasks to verify they replicate professional analyst workflows accurately
- Validate task instructions and scoring rubrics for logical consistency, completeness, and real-world applicability
- Edit Markdown files and Python scripts directly via Pull Requests to correct logic errors, clarify ambiguities, and improve task quality
- Evaluate AI outputs for correct application of concepts such as discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, profit and loss (P&L) interpretation, financial statement modeling, and valuation techniques
- Provide clear, structured feedback grounded in professional financial expertise
- Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team using GitHub-based workflows
- Manage task-based assignments independently, working at your own pace and schedule
Requirements
- Extensive subject matter expertise in finance, with experience as an analyst, in investment banking, corporate finance, equity research, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or a closely related field
- Strong command of US financial terminology and frameworks, including DCF, P&L, balance sheet analysis, weighted average cost of capital (WACC), and comparable company analysis
- Proficiency in Python, including reading, writing, and debugging scripts used for financial calculations
- Experience with GitHub workflows, including cloning repositories, creating branches, and submitting Pull Requests independently
- Comfortable editing Markdown for technical documentation
- Detail-oriented with a systematic, quality-driven approach to reviewing work
- Clear and precise written communication skills to articulate issues and reasoning effectively
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Preferred Qualifications
- CFA, CPA, or MBA with a finance concentration
- Professional experience building financial models in Excel or Python for deal evaluation, forecasting, or valuation
- Background in teaching, mentoring, or creating training materials for financial concepts
- Familiarity with AI/machine learning evaluation workflows or data annotation projects
- Experience writing or reviewing technical rubrics or assessment criteria
