Finance Systems Analyst

Overview

This role involves supporting the operational health, optimization, and continuous improvement of finance systems in close collaboration with the Finance function. The position requires analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, supporting system enhancements, and driving execution through testing and structured issue resolution to improve overall system performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and system configurations within NetSuite.
• Support the ongoing health, stability, and performance of finance systems, including issue diagnosis and resolution.
• Document current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes to support structured system improvements.
• Execute system enhancements, configurations, and testing cycles, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain system documentation, workflows, and change logs using Jira and Confluence.
• Contribute to process optimization initiatives that improve efficiency, controls, and data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in systems analysis, finance systems, or ERP support roles.
• Experience with NetSuite administration, configuration, and reporting.
• Exposure to finance operations and enterprise systems environments preferred.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence preferred.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical work.
• Proficiency in system testing, requirements documentation, and gap analysis.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Understanding of finance processes such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and reporting.

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected salary range: $80,000 - $107,000 per year, subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
• Eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.
