Overview

This role involves training and evaluating AI systems that work with sensitive financial information. As a Financial Accuracy Specialist (a “Human Auditor”), you will review AI-generated financial outputs—such as financial statements, tax guidance, and expense reports—to ensure mathematical accuracy and alignment with local accounting and tax rules.

Responsibilities

  • Statement Auditing: Review AI-generated balance sheets and P&L statements to ensure the math balances perfectly.
  • Tax Logic Verification: Verify that the AI applies the correct tax rates and rules for the specific country (e.g., VAT in Europe or Zakat in the Middle East).
  • Expense Categorization: Help train the AI to correctly tag expenses (e.g., distinguishing between a “Travel Expense” and a “Capital Asset”).
  • Fraud Detection Training: Support the AI in recognizing unusual patterns that may indicate double-billing or other suspicious financial activity.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language. This is mandatory because tax laws and accounting terms change by country.
  • English Proficiency: B1 (Intermediate) English to follow the project instructions.
  • Precision mindset: Strong attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets and numerical accuracy.

Assessment

  • Completion of a subject-specific qualification exam to determine suitability for the position.
  • ID verification is required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay rate: $20–$50 USD per hour for experts.
  • Payment terms: Defined for each project.

Location & Work Setup

  • Remote work with a global, diverse contributor community.
  • Schedule flexibility: Manage your own schedule.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for a contractual relationship without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
