Financial Analyst

Overview

This role involves applying financial expertise to support the training and evaluation of AI systems focused on understanding markets, companies, and economies. The position is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract requiring strong financial analysis skills and attention to detail. No prior AI experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Analyze company financial statements, operational metrics, and structured datasets
• Validate key financial metrics and identify trends through recurring evaluation cycles
• Cross-reference narrative disclosures with quantitative data to detect inconsistencies
• Summarize financial insights clearly and concisely in written form
• Support structured evaluation workflows in collaboration with AI research teams
• Complete task-based assignments independently on a flexible schedule

Requirements

• Experience in financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and strong analytical skills, comfortable handling large datasets
• Clear and concise written communication skills, able to distill complex data into accessible summaries
• Detail-oriented with a consistent and methodical approach to work
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of sector-specific performance drivers across various industries
• Experience with financial modeling, equity research, or investment analysis
• Background in audit, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or management consulting
• Familiarity with AI tools or structured data evaluation workflows
