Overview
This Financial Analyst role is 100% remote in the United States and supports day-to-day work across staffing, recruiting, business development, marketing, client service, and project coordination. The position involves analyzing financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and business trends to support planning and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain recurring financial reports using candidate, client, recruiting, sales, and business-performance data and approved accounting or reporting sources.
- Compare actual results with budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, and explain material variances.
- Analyze revenue, costs, margins, cash needs, and operating trends relevant to staffing and business support.
- Prepare forecast updates, scenario analyses, and management-ready summaries for planning discussions.
- Validate assumptions and source data before financial results are distributed to candidates, clients, recruiters, and business teams.
- Support budgeting, close, and business-review cycles with clear analysis and documented calculations.
Requirements
- Experience with financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or closely related business reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet-modeling skills and comfort working with financial statements.
- Ability to interpret trends, explain variances, and communicate conclusions clearly.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to document work clearly in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet access and a quiet, secure workspace suitable for handling business information in a remote-work environment.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and, where applicable to the role and permitted by law, credit screening.
