Overview

A financial analyst role is available to support a financial operations and program management team. This position focuses on managing project financials including invoicing, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis for complex client programs.

This is a 12+ month W2 contract with potential for conversion. No C2C or sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance teams to improve billing accuracy
  • Perform financial analysis on project costs, revenue, and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain financial forecast models
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and cost drivers
  • Support variance and cost impact analysis
  • Build and maintain reports from multiple business systems
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and financial documentation
  • Support revenue optimization and resolve billing issues
  • Maintain financial data and SAP activity mappings
  • Improve reporting accuracy and operational processes in partnership with business teams

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas, reporting, and analysis
  • Experience with invoicing, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), reporting, or forecasting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Familiarity with general ledger (G/L), accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R) processes
  • Experience supporting project-based financial operations
