Overview

This Financial Analyst role supports cruises, tours, destination celebrations, groups, reservations, and traveler service. Work is financial-focused and analysis-led, with the practical objective of maintaining accurate financial records, completing reconciliation, and handling exceptions. Completed work should clearly reflect the source used, what changed, what remains open, and who owns the next action.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile financial discrepancies before reporting or processing, ensuring traceability across cruises, tours, destination celebrations, groups, reservations, and traveler service.
  • Track unresolved financial exceptions and ensure each exception is owned and followed through to resolution.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation with clear traceability across relevant operations (cruises, tours, destination celebrations, groups, reservations, and traveler service).
  • Protect confidential account information and document handling in a traceable manner.
  • Review financial inputs against supporting records to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform invoice review while preserving evidence, owners, and deadlines within the workflow.
  • Document data accuracy decisions clearly enough for another teammate to follow the reasoning.
  • Exercise sound judgment for financial reporting, escalating issues when needed rather than assuming.

Success Criteria

Success means financial records, reconciliation, and exception handling remain usable under the demands of cruises, tours, destination celebrations, groups, reservations, and traveler service. Repeated errors should become visible, exceptions should have owners, and another authorized teammate should be able to verify the work state without reconstructing prior history.
