Financial Analyst

Overview

A leading diversified financial services organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Retail Bank Finance Team. This role focuses on shaping financial strategy and performance analysis for retail banking operations through data storytelling, trend analysis, and visual reporting. The position involves collaboration with business stakeholders and senior leadership to interpret complex financial data, develop insightful reports, and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial reporting and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and Profit & Loss management to support strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with system analysts to maintain and enhance financial modeling systems, ensuring data integrity and model accuracy.
• Coordinate with Financial Analysts across departments to gather input data, verify data quality, and synthesize information for analysis and reporting.
• Develop and deliver business presentations to communicate analysis results and strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project statuses and financial performance to management and business clients.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial systems.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.
• Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least three years of experience in financial analysis and modeling.
