Overview
A Senior Financial Analyst role is available within the Financial Shared Services (FSS) FP&A team. This position focuses on managing SG&A operating expenses with an emphasis on headcount and workforce planning. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial close processes, and delivering insightful analytics for assigned business units. It requires collaboration with business and finance leaders to support digital finance initiatives and improve reporting, forecasting, and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Manage SG&A operating expenses and headcount data for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Build and maintain financial models to support workforce planning and operational expense decisions.
- Develop strong relationships with business unit and finance leadership, acting as a trusted advisor on headcount and SG&A line items.
- Lead preparation of periodic financial close files and reporting packages, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Oversee workforce planning processes, including budgeting for headcount and employee costs, and monitor variances.
- Consolidate data from multiple sources to improve forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate findings.
- Manage the annual planning process, including target setting, budget creation, and responding to business unit requests.
- Maintain master data, organizational changes, and reporting dimensions to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot system and process issues, prioritize ad-hoc requests, and provide timely solutions.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools such as Power BI to automate reports, streamline processes, and enhance data visualization.
- Support digital finance initiatives by gathering business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and participating in system enhancements.
- Identify and assist in implementing process automation opportunities, including forecasting, variance analysis, and report distribution.
- Use AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve efficiency, generate insights, and support strategic initiatives.
- Participate in ad-hoc analytics projects and continuously seek improvements in FP&A practices.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in financial analysis or FP&A roles.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with FP&A systems like NetSuite ERP, SAP ERP, or SAC is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent data literacy, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and with business leaders.
- Experience automating financial processes and leveraging AI-enabled tools is advantageous.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining financial models, managing budgeting and forecasting cycles, and delivering high-quality reports.
