Overview

A leading commerce network platform is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial performance through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration across departments. This role involves working closely with business partners to track financial results, identify trends, and contribute to strategic planning. The position offers an opportunity to influence the financial health of a rapidly growing organization in the SaaS and e-commerce sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership on monthly and quarterly financial forecasting, annual planning, and long-term strategic planning
  • Support financial activities including headcount planning, reporting, cost control, and variance analysis
  • Monitor and analyze expenditures across payroll, contractors, infrastructure, software, travel & entertainment, and other non-payroll expenses
  • Prepare and present monthly variance analyses and reports for executive stakeholders, highlighting key drivers behind financial deviations
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, IT, and Marketing departments to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company objectives
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to support business initiatives and decision-making
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve financial analysis capabilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and basic financial modeling
  • Experience with PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience working in a SaaS environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate clearly with non-finance teams
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Effective planning and time management abilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranging from $65,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience and location
  • Discretionary bonus of up to 10% of annual salary
