Overview
A global leader in the food and beverage industry is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Nutrition & Health Sales Finance team. This role reports directly to the Senior Finance Manager (Planning & Reporting) and plays a key part in partnering with Sales, Customer Strategy, and Brand teams to translate complex sales and profitability data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong business partner relationships with Customer Finance, Sales, Strategy, and Brand teams
- Provide monthly Sales and Profitability actuals reporting to key stakeholders
- Support and improve the Sales business planning cycle, ensuring consistency and standardization in planning and target setting
- Maintain Customer Scorecards and KPIs to monitor field effectiveness and drive performance improvements
- Lead periodic profitability reviews analyzing customer mix and channel performance across brands
- Conduct detailed analyses on customer Sales, Margin performance, and channel evolution to provide actionable insights
- Own and enhance the monthly RIG-OG forecasting and actuals reporting processes
- Collect data and provide analytics for various organizational projects
- Support period-end closing activities and perform ad-hoc financial analysis projects
- Identify and implement sustainable process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
- Utilize SAP, BW, Oracle, Power BI, and Excel Power Query for data organization and analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Sales Finance, or operational finance roles
- Advanced Excel modeling skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively
- Solid understanding of accounting principles such as accruals and prepaid accounts
- Knowledge of customer P&L and margin levers
- Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with SAP, BW, Oracle, XTEL TPM, Power BI is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $88,000 to $102,000

Location
Remote position with an expectation of monthly travel to the corporate office located in Bridgewater, NJ. Priority will be given to local candidates.
