Overview

  • Build the metrics and dashboards that indicate whether a function is becoming more efficient.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis for the executive team.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Approximately 1 to 3 years in FP&A, business finance, consulting, banking, data analysis, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Strong Excel skills and solid financial fundamentals, including the instinct to sanity check your own output.
  • Clear written communication skills, including explaining numbers to people who do not work in finance.
  • High learning velocity (“high slope”): able to grow into the responsibilities of where you will be in two years as much as where you are today.
  • Working style focused on automating repeatable parts of the job.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, BI tools, or SQL is a plus (the employer will help build these skills if you have the instinct but not the tools).
  • The team is based on the West Coast; candidates must have meaningful overlap with Pacific time.
  • Open to occasional travel for team and company on-sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in FP&A or business finance roles with strong ownership of recurring reporting and variance analysis.
