Overview

A financial analyst position is available to support the Technology Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role involves partnering closely with Technology leadership to drive financial planning, performance management, and operational reporting across a complex and innovation-driven portfolio.

The analyst will contribute to forecasting accuracy, performance transparency, and disciplined cost management by connecting detailed financial analysis to broader business objectives and supporting informed decision-making aligned with growth and digital transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Financial Execution

  • Lead the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes for Technology.
  • Provide visibility into key cost drivers including headcount, vendor spend, cloud costs, software, and infrastructure.
  • Manage monthly reporting, variance analysis, and stakeholder support across assigned areas.
  • Contribute to enhancements in forecasting tools, reporting processes, and planning systems (e.g., Anaplan).
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly standard close processes, including preparing accruals and reclassifications.

Performance Management & Investment Oversight

  • Collaborate with departments and hiring managers on headcount forecasts related to full-time employees and contractors.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial and operational performance.
  • Analyze actuals versus plan, identify drivers of variance, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Track and evaluate cost-efficiency initiatives and operational improvement programs to measure realized savings and return on investment.
  • Support alignment between financial performance and operational execution.

Strategic Partnership & Executive Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to Technology leaders.
  • Translate financial analysis into clear, concise insights for director-level and senior leadership discussions.
  • Support strategic initiatives including digital transformation, modernization, automation, and AI-related investments.

Champion Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain adherence to internal controls, data accuracy standards, and financial governance requirements.
  • Drive process improvements in reporting, modeling, and analytics through automation and effective use of financial systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or business finance.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel (V-lookups, formulas, pivots).
  • Experience with planning tools such as Anaplan, HFM, Access, and Peoplesoft preferred.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to be innovative and challenge the status quo to drive process improvement.

  • Master’s Degree.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $82,000.00 - $97,600.00.
  • Actual pay rates will vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency.
  • Base pay is one component of the total compensation package.
  • Non-sales roles are typically eligible for quarterly or annual bonuses based on role and applicable plans.
