Overview

This role provides analytical, operational, and strategic support across defined supplier functions (Air/Car/Hotel). The position delivers data-driven analysis to identify revenue opportunities and highlight potential business risks to support supplier and organizational objectives.

You will evaluate suppliers’ financial performance, conduct financial and operational analysis, and translate complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. By identifying patterns, measuring business impact, and developing reporting and performance metrics, you will support supplier strategies that improve supplier value and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze supplier revenue, commission, incentive, and performance data to identify trends, validate results, and generate insights supporting forecasting, budgeting, business reviews, and strategic decision-making
  • Develop and maintain financial models that support supplier negotiations, business case development, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Partner with supplier managers and leadership teams to evaluate proposed agreements and quantify projected financial and operational impact of contractual changes
  • Support annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes through data-driven analysis and financial performance assessments
  • Leverage existing reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications to analyze data against contract models and assess strategic options
  • Conduct analysis on ad hoc suppliers, evaluating potential impact on performance and revenue
  • Use supplier, internal, and 3rd-party data to develop interactive reporting that tracks supplier contractual and financial performance, ensuring optimal revenues and earnings rates
  • Communicate analyses effectively with internal teams and illustrate recommended levers to act on findings
  • Drive continuous improvement of reporting capabilities by identifying gaps, recommending enhancements, and partnering on the development of new analytical tools and solutions
  • Develop expert-level understanding of supplier data to ensure accuracy and integrity of reported results

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior analytical and financial experience, especially in the travel industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) in English
  • Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
