  • Partner with finance and operations teams on variance analysis, pipeline-to-ARR tracking, and management discussion and analysis (MD&A) for leadership and the Board.
  • Collaborate with the VP Finance on financial strategy, Board reporting, and building infrastructure to support the company’s growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, Deal Desk, People, and Product teams to ensure accounting treatment aligns with new contract structures, headcount growth, and product launches.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role at a high-growth or venture-backed company.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), stock-based compensation, and capitalization.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting external audits and establishing internal controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable close processes and select or implement accounting systems.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to translate accounting concepts into clear narratives for non-finance partners, leadership, and the Board.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Public accounting experience at a Big 4 or national firm strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading a company’s annual audit at a venture-backed company (Series B-D).
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems and modern close tooling.
  • Experience with healthcare or SaaS revenue recognition.
