Overview

A remote position is available for a Financial Planning & Analyst Business Partner to join an accounting team and collaborate closely with the head of Financial Planning and Analysis. This role involves monitoring budgets and forecasts, improving financial processes, and providing insights to drive an efficient and effective finance function. Candidates must reside in the US and work during Eastern or Central time zones. Sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales and leadership teams to provide financial insights
Develop and monitor profit and loss statements, reporting variances to budget and forecast
Collaborate with sales leadership and accounting to streamline sales and commission reporting
Communicate financial results and interpret metrics for department leadership and finance partners
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records, including monthly updates and variance analysis
Identify and support cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Lead initiatives to enhance financial reporting and analysis
Gain a deep understanding of the organization's financial situation through analysis

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in Financial Planning and Analysis
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership
Leadership potential with the ability to inspire and motivate others
Strong business acumen with effective oral and written communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and work collaboratively as a team player
