Overview

This role involves supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for a high-growth fintech business that provides credit, identity monitoring, privacy protection, and financial advertising tools through embeddable widgets and APIs. The organization serves over 500 clients and is navigating rapid growth, acquisitions, and increasing operational complexity. The FP&A Analyst will report directly to the CFO and collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Corporate Development, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting across multiple business lines and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Accounting and leadership teams to deliver accurate monthly close analysis, board-ready reporting, and actionable business insights.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities including due diligence, integration modeling, synergy tracking, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
  • Build KPI dashboards, sensitivity analyses, and operational reports to improve visibility into revenue, margins, and operating profit.
  • Utilize AI tools regularly to enhance efficiency in analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, corporate development, or investment banking.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Deep proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Google Sheets for collaboration.
  • Comfort working with large datasets, internal and third-party reporting systems, and business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear business recommendations for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-accountability environments with shifting priorities and high executive visibility.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and mental calculation skills.
  • A mindset that embraces AI as a tool to accelerate work processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting VC-backed SaaS companies or fintech businesses.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes and integration.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary starting at $120,000+, depending on experience.
