Overview
This role supports financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including modeling, forecasting, reporting, and month-end close tasks.
- Pay Range: $45 - $50/hr
- Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
- Prepare reports on financial and budgeting trends and operational performance.
- Gather financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Analyze income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other financial trends.
- Utilize business and financial systems to support reporting and analysis.
- Assist with department and regional budgets and forecasts aligned with business initiatives.
- Perform general ledger analysis and reconciliations and investigate financial variances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of FP&A or directly related financial experience.
- Advanced accounting knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with general ledger analysis, reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well on a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Medi-Cal accounting and reporting.
- SQL database experience.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience.
