Financial Systems Business Analyst

Overview

Permanent position.

This role supports a Finance transformation, including the implementation of a new ERP system and an enterprise platform focused on core finance functions. You will work closely with internal project teams, IT, and external partners to document future-state processes, support system configuration and testing, and ensure business needs align with ERP capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future-state processes; identify opportunities to improve and streamline workflows
• Partner with stakeholders and vendors to gather, document, and refine business requirements
• Support ERP configuration, implementation activities, and integration discussions
• Develop and execute testing scenarios (SIT/UAT); track issues and support resolution
• Assist with data migration activities, including mapping and validation
• Support user readiness through training and change-related activities
• Act as a liaison between end users, project teams, and external partners

Requirements

• Hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations, business requirements documentation (BRDs, user stories), process mapping, and testing / UAT required
• 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis, preferably in Finance or ERP projects
• Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting) and procurement / purchasing workflows
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with vendors and supporting transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, project-based environment
• Proven ability to partner with Finance teams, assess processes, and deliver practical system or workflow improvements

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $61,500 - $75,000 CAD
• In addition to Base Pay, eligible employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs (payments are discretionary and subject to individual and organizational results)
