Overview
The organization is hiring an FP&A Analyst to join the Finance team. This role focuses on financial modeling, performance reporting, compensation reporting, and utilization/capacity analysis—supporting forecasting, planning, and hiring decisions. You will report to the SVP of Finance and work closely with Finance Operations, the AR & Billing Specialist, and department Managing Directors to translate financial and operating data into clear recommendations.

- Headcount plan
- Scenario analysis
- Unit economics
- Prepare the weekly pacing report, tracking MRR, bookings, and revenue against target.
- Prepare monthly report sections including revenue, EBITDA, year-to-date, MRR, and outlook; also support quarterly performance reporting.
- Explain variances against budget by identifying drivers and recommending changes to model assumptions when actuals diverge.
- Own the utilization model by department, role, and person, including Shadow FTEs (capacity added by the AI platform), and connect utilization directly to gross margin and unit economics.
- Partner with Managing Directors on hiring requests by building the case for hiring now versus waiting, based on utilization, pipeline, and margin impact.

- Run cohort analysis including retention, expansion, and lifetime value by client cohort.
- Analyze media mix and profitability by client and service line; recommend pricing, scope, and staffing changes.

- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and build more efficient workflows.
- Identify and implement improvements to the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of financial processes and reporting.
- Take on ad hoc analysis and special projects as business needs arise.
