FP&A Analyst

Overview

This role involves joining a data-driven organization focused on advancing AI capabilities through foundational model training and enterprise AI agent development. The organization provides evaluation environments, data platforms, and performance systems to enhance large language model (LLM) capabilities and monitor AI agents in business settings. The team has raised over $40 million in funding and operates a global network of domain experts.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes aligned with business goals.
• Support ad hoc financial projects, business case evaluations, and special initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to assess business performance and conduct scenario analyses.
• Analyze operational dashboards and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and influence strategic decisions.
• Prepare and present clear reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced operational efficiency through financial analysis.
• Work closely with the finance team to address operational constraints, bottlenecks, and challenges during rapid scaling.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience at a top investment bank, consulting firm, or high-growth startup.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling.
• Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ability and willingness to engage in diverse projects critical to the organization.
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Commitment to delivering insights that drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting financial planning in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
• Proficiency with financial planning software or business intelligence tools.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
