- Build and maintain consolidated operating models and driver-based financial models for revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and cash
- Partner with department leads to manage budgets, understand analytical needs, and identify efficiency opportunities
- Lead monthly close reviews, prepare budget vs. actual analysis, explain variances, and communicate results clearly to executive leadership
- Track and report on SaaS and operational KPIs such as ARR, NRR, CAC payback, magic number, and operating margins, providing insights behind the metrics
- Prepare Board, investor, and executive materials including quarterly Board decks, operating reviews, and ad-hoc strategic analyses
- Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and unit economics work to support capital allocation, pricing, and headcount decisions
- Improve FP&A technology stack and processes by enhancing data quality, automating reporting, and shortening planning and forecasting cycles
- Support strategic finance projects such as capital raises, M&A diligence, pricing analysis, and other ad-hoc leadership requests

- Deep fluency in SaaS metrics and unit economics
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting fundamentals and their connection to FP&A outputs
- Demonstrated ability to partner with non-finance leaders to improve decision-making through analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to and being challenged by executive teams and Boards
- High ownership and bias to action; able to define and drive outcomes independently in a developing process and systems environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a venture-backed software company between Series B and IPO scale
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or FPAC certification
- Informed opinions on FP&A planning tools and business intelligence tools
