This position owns core planning and reporting processes, builds scalable financial models, and partners with clinic operations, growth, and clinical leadership to evaluate new initiatives and drive performance across PHP and IOP programs.

An immediate priority is building out data analytics and reporting capabilities, including dashboards on DOMO. The role therefore requires strong financial analysis skills alongside data and reporting expertise.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes, partnering with functional and clinic leaders to deliver accurate, timely, and strategy-aligned submissions.
  • Build dynamic financial models and scenario analyses to inform business planning, service line expansions, and capital investment decisions.
  • Develop financial frameworks supporting margin improvement and multi-site growth.
  • Assist in building incentive models across business functions to drive cohesion and organizational performance.
  • Own recurring financial and variance analyses through final recommendations; develop Board and executive leadership materials that translate complex data into concise, decision-ready recommendations.

Data & Reporting

  • Build and maintain executive-level financial reports and dashboards, including on DOMO, to provide clear, actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Track and communicate key performance indicators across clinic operations, including patient volumes, revenue per visit, staffing ratios, payer mix, and operating margins.
  • Build and standardize the data analytics and reporting function, including metric definitions and automated recurring reports to provide a single source of truth for clinic and finance teams.

Operational & Revenue Cycle Support

  • Facilitate regular financial reviews with clinic, operations, and clinical leadership, serving as a strategic thought partner to drive performance improvement.
  • Partner with accounting, revenue cycle management, and operations teams to ensure financial data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support payer mix reviews and reimbursement trend monitoring.
  • Continuously improve forecasting methodologies and financial processes to increase accuracy, transparency, and usability; drive initiatives for process automation and financial systems integration.

Strategic Projects

  • Lead financial diligence and scenario planning for business cases related to new clinic openings, payer contract negotiations, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Model and measure ROI for strategic initiatives, including technology investments and operational improvement efforts.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, risks, and cost-saving initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, management consulting, or healthcare financial operations; multi-site healthcare or outpatient behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep financial modeling expertise with the ability to synthesize complex data into insights for executive decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards in DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • SQL or comparable data-querying skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, growth, clinical, and IT teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate financial information for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including managing projects and competing priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare revenue recognition under ASC 606 and methodologies used to test it.
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer mix, and clinic operational drivers.
  • Proven discretion handling sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in tech-enabled healthcare services.
  • Background in investment banking or corporate development.
  • Proficiency with EHR-integrated reporting or billing analytics platforms.
  • Experience championing AI and automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
