Overview
This role is for a Senior FP&A Analyst / FP&A Manager supporting finance planning and analysis for designated departments. The position requires independent ownership of projects, proactive progress updates, and collaboration across finance and other functional teams, including multi-level stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly expense variance analysis and support close package compilation for certain departments, coordinating with Accounting and other key stakeholders
- Own expense-side Profit & Loss forecasting for designated departments in coordination with other Financial Planning and Analysis team members, Accounting, and finance leadership, including Director and Chief-level executives
- Partner directly with designated functions on monthly and quarterly headcount and expense planning
- Maintain weekly headcount reconciliations
- Own headcount actuals and forecasting for certain departments
- Provide updates related to the organization’s Human Resources software
- Participate in ad-hoc finance and accounting projects or assignments as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant area of study, or equivalent work experience required; MBA a plus
- 3-5 years of progressive work experience in finance or accounting (preferably Financial Planning & Analysis)
- Adaptive Insights or equivalent experience
- SaaS industry and international experience preferred
- Sound understanding of expense-side Profit & Loss statement and other financial statements
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Advanced Excel and modeling skills for ad hoc requests and ongoing model improvements
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with Vice President-level and C-level executives

- The role reports to the FP&A Director and works closely with the Chief Financial Officer.
