Home-Based AR/AP Data Entry Specialist

Overview

This role is for a Home-Based AR/AP Data Entry Specialist supporting day-to-day accounting operations for a U.S.-based organization in the transportation and logistics industry.

You will be responsible for accurately recording vendor invoices, preparing weekly check runs, invoicing clients upon order completion, and following up on collections. The role also supports clean and up-to-date financial records, discrepancy resolution, and year-end financial reporting assistance.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Enter vendor invoices into Syncore and/or QuickBooks
• Prepare weekly check runs based on cash flow

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Invoice clients upon order completion
• Make routine collection contacts
• Issue past-due notices and statements
• Complete royalty entry and submissions

Ongoing Accounting Support

• Assist with year-end financial statements
• Ensure efficient and accurate posting of transactions
• Resolve account discrepancies as needed
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Executive Team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or collections
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours

Technical Skills

• Very proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations)
• Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Familiarity with Syncore or other order management/ERP systems is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Experience (Preferred)

• Experience in logistics, freight, or transportation accounting is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: PHP 55,000 - 59,000

• Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
