Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced IFRS Consultant with strong expertise in IFRS accounting standards and hands-on experience with IFRS functionality embedded in SAP S/4HANA Finance. This role involves implementing and supporting IFRS-compliant financial processes, reporting, and accounting solutions within SAP S/4HANA Finance.

Responsibilities

Lead and support IFRS-related initiatives within SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.
Configure and support IFRS-compliant accounting processes in SAP S/4HANA.
Collaborate with finance and business teams to implement IFRS requirements and reporting standards.
Support IFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition) and IFRS 16 (Lease Accounting) processes.
Configure and maintain parallel accounting, ledgers, and financial reporting structures.
Support financial close, consolidation, and statutory reporting activities.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
Participate in system design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams including FI, CO, SD, MM, and Group Reporting.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IFRS accounting and financial reporting.
At least 3 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
Strong understanding of IFRS standards and their implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with:
- Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Parallel Ledgers
- General Ledger Accounting
- Asset Accounting
- Revenue Recognition (IFRS 15)
- Lease Accounting (IFRS 16)
- Financial Close and Reporting
- SAP Group Reporting (preferred)
Experience supporting global finance transformation or S/4HANA implementation projects.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification.
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
Experience working in multinational organizations with IFRS reporting requirements.
