Investment Analyst

Overview

The organization is seeking an Investment Analyst with at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in the cryptocurrency space.

This role requires a thorough understanding of crypto markets, their cycles and dynamics, and how crypto relates to broader macroeconomic factors.

The position is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cryptocurrency markets using a combination of:
  • Fundamental analysis (FA)
  • Technical analysis (TA)
  • On-chain analysis
  • Liquidity metrics
  • Any other relevant parameters or indicators
• Develop investment theses (“alpha”) intended to outperform BTC and ETH
• Evaluate opportunities in both:
  • Pre-market settings (pre token launch)
  • Secondary, liquid token markets
• Identify and leverage information advantages to support profitable investment decisions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in the cryptocurrency space
• Thorough understanding of crypto market cycles, dynamics, and their relationship with macro
• Ability to consistently excel in crypto analysis and decision-making (not “just got lucky”)

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid STEM educational background
• Prior experience in one or more of the following:
  • Investment analysis
  • Hedge funds
  • VC
  • Forex
  • HTF
  • Quant trading
  • Portfolio management
  • Active wealth management

Compensation & Benefits

• Basic pay plus a performance-specific bonus based on profits made from the opportunities provided
• Bonus and pay specifics are subject to negotiations
• With successful results: larger responsibilities, higher capital allocation, and higher bonus would be offered
