Junior Financial Analyst

Overview

Perform financial analysis to support company expenses, income, and other business results across past, present, and future operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis of company expenses, income, and other business results based on past, present, and future operations.
• Create routine financial reporting for distribution to all levels of management.
• Research, analyze, and report fluctuations in financial and business results to identify trends and variances.
• Research, analyze, and report variances between actual financial results and budgeted amounts to advise management on potential areas of cost impacts.
• Assist in the preparation of company budgets and financial forecasts to support business plans.
• Ensure expenses are charged to the general ledger for the correct division; enforce company policies related to this activity.
• Perform reconciliations and consolidations.
• Prepare reports that outline the company’s financial position in income, expenses, and earnings to support financial decision-making.
• Partner with Financial Analysts to analyze and interpret financial reports and statistics for management.
• Support department special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; in lieu of a degree, 4 years of functional experience.
• Ability to conduct various types of analysis, including cost-benefit and alternative analysis.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and mainframe accounting systems.
• Thorough understanding of business processes, interdependencies, and system interfaces.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization.
• Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties.
• For roles that are remote (Work From Home) or hybrid (partial onsite at a company location and Work From Home): demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $58,656.00 - $80,253.00
• Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
• This role may include eligible bonuses and commissions as part of the compensation package.
