Overview
This role is for a Lead FP&A & Strategic Finance Analyst focused on partnering with the Head of Strategic Finance and Go-To-Market (GTM) leadership teams. The position involves deep analytical work to understand business performance, drive planning and forecasting, and support decision-making across departments, especially GTM functions.
The role is remote and open to candidates based in the United States, with a strong preference for those in Eastern or Central time zones to facilitate collaboration.
Responsibilities

Own core FP&A planning and operating rhythms, including:
- Headcount forecasting and hiring budget tracking across the business.
- Supporting and improving departmental budgeting processes: planning, forecasting, reporting, and budget-versus-actual analysis.
- Monitoring departmental operating budgets, identifying risks and variances, understanding ROI of spend, and driving follow-up actions.
- Building trusted financial models, spreadsheets, and recurring reports for leadership decision-making.
- Creating scalable planning processes to improve visibility, accountability, and decision quality.

Drive GTM analytics and business partnership by:
- Collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing leadership to improve pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and overall GTM performance.
- Designing, administering, and calculating commission and incentive plans for GTM teams, maintaining accurate payouts and scalable compensation processes.
- Developing reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to track revenue performance, identify trends, and support operational and strategic decisions.

Build scalable finance systems, reporting, and decision support by:
- Utilizing AI tools to enhance speed, quality, and scalability of analysis and reporting while ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Independently pulling and validating data using SQL.
- Creating clear and digestible spreadsheets, models, and presentations using Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
Requirements
- Strong FP&A and analytical fundamentals, including forecasting, headcount planning, variance analysis, operating expense management, and financial modeling.
- Experience supporting go-to-market organizations through pipeline analysis, forecasting, KPI reporting, sales productivity analysis, and commission or incentive plan administration.
- Proficiency working directly with raw data, including pulling, validating, and analyzing data using SQL.
- Ability to connect operational metrics to financial outcomes and clearly communicate changes, causes, and recommended actions.
- Deep curiosity and a drive to investigate beyond surface-level explanations.
- Skill in building accurate, digestible, and trusted spreadsheets, models, dashboards, and presentations.
- Comfortable partnering with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to drive accountability and support decision-making.
- Strong judgment in using AI tools to accelerate analysis without compromising accuracy or context.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $150,000–$165,000 USD, final compensation based on experience, location, skills, and interview performance.
