Overview

This role involves managing the Lock Desk and providing sales support within the mortgage pricing and secondary marketing functions. The Lock Desk & Pricing Analyst will assist with Optimal Blue configuration, loan sales, and report development and maintenance. Strong math, analytical, and technical skills are required, along with experience in mortgage pricing.

Responsibilities

Mortgage Pricing & Analysis

  • Manage the Lock Desk and support sales activities.
  • Update and import rates into Optimal Blue.
  • Support updates and configuration in Optimal Blue.
  • Assist with the mortgage loan sale process.
  • Help audit the hedge model to ensure data accuracy.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Track competitor mortgage rates and lending trends to refine pricing strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Assist in developing and maintaining loan sale, pull-through, reporting, and analytics.
  • Run daily reports and models related to forwards and pricing analytics.
  • Support post-closing with report and analytics development.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in mortgage pricing and secondary marketing preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with mortgage pricing engines such as Optimal Blue preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $62,000 to $72,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset.
  • Salary is paid bi-weekly.

  • This is primarily a sedentary office position requiring the ability to hear, type, and talk.
