Managed Bill Pay Sr. Analyst

Overview

This role supports the Managed Bill Pay team by assisting Team Leads to ensure payments are processed on time and by helping meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) and performance goals.

Preferred hours are 9-5pm EST (with some flexibility).

Responsibilities

• Investigate payment issues and apply corrective actions when necessary, using a variety of payment methods and interfaces.
• Work with stakeholders across the invoice lifecycle and the Managed Bill Pay (MBP) team to meet SLA goals for assigned customers.
• Prioritize and complete tasks with the Managed Bill Pay Manager to ensure timely resolution of all assignments.
• Manage daily payment operations to consistently meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Address Zendesk tickets and provide clear, effective solutions.
• Reprocess all outstanding payments processed in-house.
• Maintain prefunding balances in the hub.
• Take on additional projects and duties as needed to support the team and business objectives.
• Represent the MBP department professionally in communications with vendors, payment processors, and Account Management teams.
• Fill in for other Sr. Analysts when necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics or IT preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment is required.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel including the ability to do V-lookups and pivot tables.
• Analytical aptitude and logical reasoning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
• Focused and results-oriented.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $22 - $24/hr.
