Overview

A Business Valuation Manager position is available for a remote employee based in Dallas, TX. This role involves managing business valuation engagements across various types and purposes, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality valuation services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business valuation engagements for diverse purposes
  • Direct and support subordinate staff to achieve objectives and meet budgets
  • Provide necessary resources and foster an enjoyable work environment to ensure quality and high performance
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and interface with clients
  • Research valuation issues and develop resolutions or recommendations
  • Monitor the quality of valuation services and personnel performance
  • Continuously improve internal valuation templates
  • Assign, track, and manage tasks/projects for domestic and offshore staff and supervisors
  • Develop staff and supervisors, including offshore resources
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks to develop new business opportunities
  • Facilitate and participate in internal continuing professional education (CPE) and training activities

Requirements

  • Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), or a similar designation (required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business valuations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to meet project deadlines and attention to detail
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and staff simultaneously
  • Executive presence and capability to act as the primary contact on assigned engagements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No visa sponsorship is available for this position or future positions.
