Overview
A Business Valuation Manager position is available for a remote employee based in Dallas, TX. This role involves managing business valuation engagements across various types and purposes, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality valuation services.
Responsibilities
- Manage business valuation engagements for diverse purposes
- Direct and support subordinate staff to achieve objectives and meet budgets
- Provide necessary resources and foster an enjoyable work environment to ensure quality and high performance
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and interface with clients
- Research valuation issues and develop resolutions or recommendations
- Monitor the quality of valuation services and personnel performance
- Continuously improve internal valuation templates
- Assign, track, and manage tasks/projects for domestic and offshore staff and supervisors
- Develop staff and supervisors, including offshore resources
- Build and maintain internal and external networks to develop new business opportunities
- Facilitate and participate in internal continuing professional education (CPE) and training activities
Requirements
- Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), or a similar designation (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business valuations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to meet project deadlines and attention to detail
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and staff simultaneously
- Executive presence and capability to act as the primary contact on assigned engagements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No visa sponsorship is available for this position or future positions.
