Overview
A tax professional with expertise in research, modeling, and complex entity structuring is sought for a Manager position within a National Tax Solutions team. This role involves delivering high-impact tax guidance, supporting internal teams and clients with sophisticated analysis, and contributing to tax strategy development in the food and agriculture industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced tax research and prepare technical memos to support internal and client tax positions.
- Perform quantitative analysis and tax modeling to evaluate entity structures, transactions, and planning opportunities.
- Provide guidance on complex tax issues to internal tax professionals.
- Lead entity choice analysis and cash flow optimization strategies for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support internal reorganizations and structural planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment in tax planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master’s in Tax or JD is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience, including complex technical modeling, tax research, or technical tax consulting.
- Experience in M&A, international tax, and/or the agriculture industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel for modeling and analysis.
- Strong writing and communication skills for drafting memos and presenting findings.
- Digital fluency with tax research tools.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range estimated between $100,000 and $175,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location.
