Overview

A tax professional with expertise in research, modeling, and complex entity structuring is sought for a Manager position within a National Tax Solutions team. This role involves delivering high-impact tax guidance, supporting internal teams and clients with sophisticated analysis, and contributing to tax strategy development in the food and agriculture industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced tax research and prepare technical memos to support internal and client tax positions.
  • Perform quantitative analysis and tax modeling to evaluate entity structures, transactions, and planning opportunities.
  • Provide guidance on complex tax issues to internal tax professionals.
  • Lead entity choice analysis and cash flow optimization strategies for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support internal reorganizations and structural planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment in tax planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Master’s in Tax or JD is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience, including complex technical modeling, tax research, or technical tax consulting.
  • Experience in M&A, international tax, and/or the agriculture industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel for modeling and analysis.
  • Strong writing and communication skills for drafting memos and presenting findings.
  • Digital fluency with tax research tools.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range estimated between $100,000 and $175,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location.
