Overview
The Senior Financial Analytics Professional, Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA) Finance, is responsible for analyzing financial results and translating complex financial and operational drivers into clear, actionable insights. This role collaborates closely with stakeholders across Corporate Finance, Risk Adjustment Operations and Compliance, and Risk Adjustment and Stars Analytics (RASA) to ensure accurate, well-documented, and well-controlled processes that support financial reporting, variance analysis, and business decision-making.
The MRA Finance team supports the Risk Adjustment business area within Medicare. Medicare Advantage is a significant business segment, serving millions of members nationwide and contributing the majority of consolidated revenue. The Finance team develops revenue and risk score projections for bids, budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning; evaluates the financial impact of CMS regulatory changes and Medicare Advantage payment model updates; monitors and reports on risk adjustment data submissions; and supports risk adjustment operations and initiatives that strengthen compliance, revenue accuracy, and overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights
- Develop and maintain analytical financial models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Corporate Finance, Risk Adjustment Operations, Compliance, and Analytics
- Support financial reporting, variance analysis, and business decision-making processes
- Monitor and report on risk adjustment data submissions
- Evaluate financial impacts of regulatory changes and payment model updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience with financial modeling using SQL and Excel (including pivot tables and analytical trend analysis)
- Experience writing SQL processes
- Proven ability to develop and maintain analytical models
- Ability to explain variances, trends, and advanced modeling techniques
- Experience analyzing moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Strong collaboration skills
- Passion for contributing to continuous improvement in consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Financial or actuarial background
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience in Medicare Advantage, specifically risk adjustment or Stars
Work from Home Requirements

Scheduled Weekly Hours
Compensation
- Salary range: $89,000 - $121,400 per year (varies by geographic location and individual qualifications)
- Eligible for bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance
