NetSuite Advisory - Manager

Overview

This role supports the organization’s Digital Advisory team within the Enterprise Applications practice. The position involves leading and delivering NetSuite advisory and implementation engagements, helping clients optimize operations through solution design, process analysis, and technology-enabled transformation.

The organization follows a hybrid work model. This specific position is considered remote, meaning job duties do not require being performed within proximity of an office location. However, remote employees may be required to be present at an office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements gathering workshops with clients and serve as a solution architect for full-cycle NetSuite implementation engagements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Record to Report process areas.
• Translate complex business requirements and processes into professionally documented NetSuite best-practice-based solution designs and process flows.
• Perform process fit gap analysis on client business requirements.
• Contribute individually and also lead all phases of NetSuite implementation projects, including discovery, design, build, testing, training, and deployment.
• Drive implementation delivery and provide quality control oversight across all project phases and deliverables.
• Foster proactive written and spoken communication with internal and external teams.
• Manage client relationships as a trusted advisor; deeply understand the client’s business and drive client satisfaction.
• Provide project management support, including project planning, timeline adherence at both project and task levels, change management, junior team member delivery oversight, and monitoring issues/risks with mitigation.
• Stay current with NetSuite product functionality and learn new modules/functionalities as required per engagement.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in data migration theory and best practices.
• Participate in sales cycles and drive business development, including business to other offerings.
• Manage resources on projects and within the NetSuite practice.
• Mentor junior resources and contribute to their development.
• Travel is currently limited, but the role requires the ability to travel up to 30%.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, information technology, computer science or related discipline.
• Extensive implementation and product experience with Oracle NetSuite in a consulting role, minimum of 5 years.
• ERP implementation experience or professional services experience required.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with consultants and clients and make impactful project presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external team members.
• Self-starter, driven, resourceful, and problem solver.
• Driven by customer satisfaction, success, and quality of work.
• Functional expertise in finance/accounting (record to report).
• Industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, consumer packaged goods, hospitality, technology, or service industries.
• Experience or knowledge with documentation of project deliverables, including requirements, configuration, process flows, test cases, and other related documents.
• Expert use of various project tools and templates (Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Azure Dev Ops, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite Certifications, including NetSuite Suitefoundations, NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite Accounting Professional, NetSuite Financial Associate.
