Oracle Cloud Payroll Lead Consultant

Overview

This role is for an experienced Oracle Cloud Payroll Lead Consultant to join the organization’s Cloud practice. The position supports Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations across Public Sector and/or Commercial settings. Work is hybrid with remote work allowed, and travel to client sites is required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional consulting as a subject matter expert, leading clients through the full Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation lifecycle
• Identify business requirements and map them to HCM Cloud functionality
• Conduct Functional Design Workshops
• Identify functionality gaps and develop extensions to address them
• Advise clients on options, risks, and impacts to other processes or systems
• Configure Oracle Cloud applications as a Functional Lead to meet client Payroll requirements and document application set-ups
• Apply methods and techniques in a Cloud software development and consulting environment to solve business problems using Oracle Cloud Payroll
• Write business requirements documents for Payroll reports, interfaces, data conversions, integrations, and application extensions
• Assist with validation scripts and testing scenarios, and develop test scripts
• Lead migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to production
• Communicate effectively and drive project deliverables to completion
• Complete tasks efficiently and within required timelines
• Coordinate with project team members responsible for reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
• Provide regular status and issue reports to the project manager/client
• Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Functional Lead role
• Completed two end-to-end Cloud implementations with Oracle Cloud Payroll
• Solid experience working with Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft or Cloud applications with a focus in Human Capital Management (HCM)
• Ability to lead other functional leads through different project phases
• Experience implementing HCM solutions in Public Sector is required; Commercial/Healthcare is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required at minimum
• Oracle Cloud certification(s) strongly preferred
• Travel to client sites as needed
• Must already be living in the US
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• All work to be performed in the US
