Payroll Professional (HR / Finance / Accounting)

Overview

A freelance opportunity is available for Payroll Professionals with expertise in HR, Finance, or Accounting functions. This role involves participating in a research initiative aimed at evaluating how advanced research models handle complex payroll-related tasks and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Complete a series of surveys focused on payroll processes and scenarios
• Apply professional payroll knowledge to answer questions on calculations, compliance, benefits administration, tax withholding, and reporting
• Provide feedback on the clarity and relevance of survey questions
• Share professional judgment on realistic payroll scenarios presented in the surveys

Requirements

• Current involvement in payroll activities as part of your job function within Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting
• Payroll experience is essential regardless of job title
• Familiarity with payroll processes including calculations, compliance, benefits, tax withholding, and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with payroll software, HRIS systems, or automated payroll workflows is a plus

• Hourly rate: $25
