Overview

This role supports the Sales and Operations teams by creating and distributing pricing reports, managing pricing data, and maintaining price and cost information. The position is part of the National Sales team and reports to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pricing responsibilities for national accounts.
  • Execute system setup and maintenance to implement pricing systems, tools, and processes.
  • Generate and distribute routine reports with insights and action items for Pricing and Sales/Operations teams.
  • Communicate recommended actions for data outliers and exceptions based on management metrics.
  • Present recommendations for system, reporting, and process enhancements to management.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation for common pricing activities and reports.
  • Provide backup support to other Pricing Team members on reporting, data validation, and retail pricing processes.
  • Support ad-hoc initiatives and analysis for Pricing and Sales/Operations teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, IT, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in managing large datasets using Microsoft Excel.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an analytical field, preferably focused on Sales, Margin, or Cost Analysis.
  • 2-3 years of experience coaching teammates.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce analytics packages.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment and Physical Activity

  • Approximately 10% travel required for market-specific engagements.
