Overview

A leading cloud infrastructure organization is seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to join their Customer Insights Finance team. This role involves building financial models using sales and customer data, often with imperfect data and unclear solutions. The analyst will work with large datasets to create analyses and recommendations that are clear and actionable for senior management. The position requires the ability to independently break down complex problems into manageable deliverables and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the organization to understand and integrate various datasets.
  • Influence partner teams without direct authority to meet business needs and goals.
  • Develop financial models and conduct margin analyses.
  • Provide business support for various cloud products and services as needed.
  • Apply a strong understanding of the business side of technology, focusing on metrics and analysis to achieve business objectives.
  • Deliver analysis and advice to management in areas such as operations, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, pricing, and contracts.
  • Lead projects, policies, and procedures that support the organization’s operational and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud and infrastructure technologies.
  • Over 10 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, reporting, and/or controllership with progressive advancement.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams with limited supervision.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven program management, process change, and process management capabilities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to thrive in environments characterized by ambiguity and change.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range in the US: $84,500 - $178,100 per year.
