Overview
This role involves serving as a Certified Private Capital Deal Reviewer within a private capital ecosystem that connects capital with finance professionals. The position is for independent contractors who are activated through a certification and verification process to review live private market transactions.
Responsibilities
Depending on certification approvals, Deal Reviewers may be engaged to:
- Review financial models for accuracy, assumptions, and internal consistency
- Evaluate valuation methodologies such as DCF, LBO, comparables, and precedent transactions
- Assess underwriting logic for private equity, venture capital, and real asset deals
- Review sensitivity and scenario analyses for downside risk
- Review Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports and key findings
- Evaluate commercial, operational, and financial diligence materials
- Identify key risks, red flags, and data gaps
- Validate investment memos prior to investor presentations
- Provide structured feedback to sponsors and analysts
- Confirm data integrity and analytical completeness
- Support investment committees with objective deal assessments
Note: Deal Reviewers may only perform work in categories for which they have explicit approval, earned through assessment and performance.
Certification Tiers and Pay Ranges
Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
- Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Certification Assessment
- Complete approved financial training
- Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent
Compensation and Deal Economics
- Compensation ranges from $50 to $200 per hour based on Reviewer Rating Score, credentials, and approval scope
- Reviewers may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees, with a maximum deal-based earning of $2,500 per transaction
- Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
- Reviewers operate as independent contractors, not employees
Reviewer Rating Score
Each Deal Reviewer receives a 0–100 Reviewer Rating Score that determines:
- Platform visibility
- Approved review categories
- Recommended hourly rates
Scores are based on accuracy, judgment quality, responsiveness, and compliance.

Deal Reviewers do not provide investment advice, solicit securities, or represent the organization in a regulated or fiduciary capacity. All work is strictly limited to analytical review, diligence evaluation, and financial assessment and must comply with applicable securities laws.
