Overview

This role involves joining a private capital ecosystem as a Certified Private Equity Analyst operating as an independent contractor. Analysts gain access to real private equity deal flow and paid analytical work supporting fund managers, investors, and operators on live transactions. The position offers immediate earning potential upon verification and certification.

Responsibilities

Depending on certification approvals, analysts may be engaged in the following areas:

  • Financial Modeling & Valuation:

    • 3-statement financial models
    • LBO and DCF modeling specific to private equity deals
    • Sensitivity and scenario analysis
    • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
    • "Football field" valuation summaries
  • Due Diligence & Transaction Support:

    • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
    • Commercial and operational diligence
    • Risk assessment and deal screening
    • Investment memo creation and reporting support

Analysts perform work only in approved categories earned through assessment and performance.

Requirements

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
  • Completion of approved financial training
  • Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent

Certification Tiers and Pay Ranges

Compensation & Deal Terms

  • Hourly rates are based on Analyst Rating Score and approval level
  • Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees
  • Potential to earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees, with a maximum of $2,500 per transaction
  • Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
  • Analyst Rating Score (0–100) determines platform visibility, approved work categories, and recommended hourly rates
  • Approvals may be revoked for quality or compliance issues

Compliance

  • Analysts do not provide investment advice, solicit securities, or represent the organization in a regulated capacity
  • All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and financial support functions compliant with applicable securities laws
