Overview

A Senior Proposal Analyst role is available to support development and sustainment programs for AMMM (C-130J, C-5, and P-3). This position focuses on pricing and cost estimating to develop competitive, compliant financial proposals that support contract pursuits and negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, and deliver comprehensive cost estimates and pricing proposals for AMMM development and sustainment programs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Program Management to gather inputs and build pricing strategies.
  • Prepare pricing packages and financial analyses for proposal submissions, customer negotiations, and contract modifications.
  • Ensure pricing methodologies comply with customer requirements, government regulations (including FAR Part 15), and company policies.
  • Analyze historical data, cost trends, and program requirements to create defensible cost estimates and identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Support long-range business planning by providing pricing recommendations and financial insights.
  • Present pricing assumptions, cost analyses, and recommendations to program leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance proposal quality, pricing efficiency, and estimating processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 5 years of relevant experience if no degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing or estimating.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity or experience with FAR Part 15 proposal requirements.
  • Current Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with estimating and/or pricing.
  • Negotiations experience.
  • Knowledge of the proposal process and Basis Of Estimates (BOEs).
  • Experience with PROPRICER software.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and task coordination skills.
  • Experience coordinating complex estimates with changing requirements and deadlines.

Location

This is a full-time remote position. The employee will work remotely at a location other than a designated office/job site but may be required to travel periodically to an office for meetings.
