PT Financial Coach (Contractor) - IRELAND

Overview

This role involves providing unbiased, one-on-one financial education and coaching to employees as part of their employer-sponsored benefits. The position is part-time, approximately 8 hours per week, fully remote, and based in Ireland. Candidates must reside in Ireland and be fluent in English and Irish.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized financial coaching to employees in one-on-one virtual sessions (30 minutes each).
• Cover topics such as:
  • Budgeting
  • Debt reduction
  • Credit management
  • Retirement planning
  • Investment education
  • Insurance basics
  • Home buying
• Deliver unbiased coaching focused on educating and empowering employees—without sales or promotion of financial products.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with employees.
• Tailor coaching and resources to each employee’s individual needs, goals, and financial circumstances.
• Use digital tools (e.g., video conferencing platforms) to conduct remote coaching sessions.
• Track session completion and provide brief documentation of topics covered.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education.
• Strong knowledge of financial topics, including budgeting, debt management, retirement planning, credit improvement, investments, insurance, and home buying.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with confidentiality and ethical practices in financial education.
• Access to reliable internet and ability to work remotely.
• Proficiency in English is required, along with fluency in Irish (the country’s native language if it differs from English).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in financial coaching or planning (highly desirable but not required).
• Experience working with diverse populations and financial situations.
• Fluency in English plus fluency in Irish; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of financial systems and practices in multiple countries is helpful.
