Overview

This role involves evaluating and validating AI-generated quantitative finance forecasting models to ensure their logic, assumptions, and outputs are accurate and meaningful. The position is a fully remote, flexible contract opportunity suited for finance and data professionals with strong quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess outputs of quantitative models and their underlying data inputs
  • Validate forecasting assumptions and identify key drivers behind predictions
  • Summarize expected trends and performance scenarios clearly and precisely
  • Detect anomalies, inconsistencies, or logical gaps in structured financial data
  • Deliver structured findings using standardized evaluation formats
  • Work independently and asynchronously on a flexible schedule

Requirements

  • Strong background in quantitative finance, statistics, economics, or data analysis
  • Sharp reasoning skills regarding model logic, assumptions, and limitations
  • Comfortable working with structured financial datasets and interpreting complex outputs
  • Detail-oriented and systematic with a keen eye for numerical inconsistencies
  • Clear and concise written communication skills to translate technical findings into accessible summaries
  • Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Python, R, or other quantitative modeling tools
  • Background in financial forecasting, risk modeling, or investment analysis
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation workflows or data annotation platforms
  • Experience in roles such as quantitative analyst, actuary, data scientist, or financial modeler
