Overview
This role involves evaluating and validating AI-generated quantitative finance forecasting models to ensure their logic, assumptions, and outputs are accurate and meaningful. The position is a fully remote, flexible contract opportunity suited for finance and data professionals with strong quantitative skills.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess outputs of quantitative models and their underlying data inputs
- Validate forecasting assumptions and identify key drivers behind predictions
- Summarize expected trends and performance scenarios clearly and precisely
- Detect anomalies, inconsistencies, or logical gaps in structured financial data
- Deliver structured findings using standardized evaluation formats
- Work independently and asynchronously on a flexible schedule
Requirements
- Strong background in quantitative finance, statistics, economics, or data analysis
- Sharp reasoning skills regarding model logic, assumptions, and limitations
- Comfortable working with structured financial datasets and interpreting complex outputs
- Detail-oriented and systematic with a keen eye for numerical inconsistencies
- Clear and concise written communication skills to translate technical findings into accessible summaries
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, or other quantitative modeling tools
- Background in financial forecasting, risk modeling, or investment analysis
- Familiarity with AI evaluation workflows or data annotation platforms
- Experience in roles such as quantitative analyst, actuary, data scientist, or financial modeler
