Overview

This role involves supporting the regional finance team by preparing analyses across a broad spectrum of business and financial metrics to identify opportunities that drive financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare analyses in key business areas including fleet/utilization, revenue and rates management, cost, and operational improvements.
    • Assist in reviewing financial statements and proposing adjustments during the month-end close process.
    • Support preparation and coordination of region, district, and corporate Quarterly Business Reviews.
    • Perform ad hoc analyses as needed.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Conduct reporting and analysis for region and field staff to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Assist in monitoring budgets and reporting on variances.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Collaborate directly with field leadership to identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
    • Evaluate underperforming branches and provide recommendations for corrective action.
    • Support region and district initiatives aimed at profitable growth.
    • Assist with financial training for key region, district, and branch staff.
    • Help identify and promote best practices throughout the region.
  • Other Duties:

    • Provide acquisition support as required.
    • Participate in the rollout of region and corporate initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; professional accounting designation and/or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word and Excel (advanced functions).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong spreadsheet modeling and critical analysis abilities.
  • SQL and Tableau skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
