Overview
This is a part-time, work-from-home accounting role focused on providing remote support to multiple clients during traditional daytime business hours. The position is designed to offer a balanced schedule while leveraging new technology to help businesses succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices.
- Support client onboarding for assigned engagements in accordance with defined process.
- Execute, as applicable, processes related to:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Bookkeeping entries
- Closing the books monthly
- Preparing financial reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with your manager and other team members to ensure clients are satisfied through timely and effective communication.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships while working within established processes and budget parameters.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for additional services or tools that can drive client value and efficiency.
Team/Collaboration
- Participate in recurring team and one-on-one video check-in meetings to stay aligned for success.
- Learn and embrace new technology to resolve client issues.
- Accept coaching and feedback from your manager and implement changes as needed to meet team and client goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (minimum).
- 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, closing books monthly, and preparing financial reporting and analysis).
- 1+ year of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Experience in a multi-client environment (highly preferred).
- Ability and commitment to work 25–30 hours per week during business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST).
- Managed day-to-day relationships with clients while working within established processes and budget parameters.

- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling client data.
