Remote Part-Time Senior Financial Business Analyst

Overview

This part-time Senior Momentum Financials Business Analyst role supports federal financial management for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Momentum Financials, including configuration, data management, and system testing.
• Analyze business processes, develop requirements, and implement financial management solutions.
• Support end-user training and create support tools.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on VHA business processes.
• Assist with financial reporting, internal controls, and audit responses.
• Lead analysis, research solutions, and facilitate meetings with government clients.
• Develop test scenarios, validate system functionality, and support new initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 10+ years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Financial ERP systems, particularly Momentum Financials, FFS, VISTA, and IFCAP.
• Minimum of 10 years supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and federal financial reporting processes.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies.
