Remote Senior Accountant, USG Contracts

Overview

An experienced Senior Accountant is needed to support financial operations, primarily focused on research and development (R&D) programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare US Government (USG) invoices, reconciliations, and labor reports
• Assist with budget development, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records, support audits, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Review timesheets and manage accounting structures within NetSuite
• Improve reporting processes to enhance financial transparency and accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of nine years of accounting experience, preferably with expertise in USG contracts
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Paylocity, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $88,000 to $112,000 annually
• Comprehensive benefits package included
