Overview

A fully remote Tax Manager position is available at an independent boutique CPA firm with a strong focus on high-net-worth (HNW) individual taxation. This role offers a partner track opportunity within a firm that values long-term employee retention and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and provide direct advisory services on complex tax planning matters
• Oversee and review the work of tax staff
• Apply strong technical expertise in HNW individual taxation, trust and estate planning, and pass-through entities
• Operate independently in a fully remote environment

Requirements

• Active CPA license required
• 5 to 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Proven experience with sophisticated HNW tax work
• Ability to manage client relationships and lead tax staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable advising clients on complex planning
• Self-directed and effective in remote work settings

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary up to $170,000, commensurate with experience
• Discretionary performance bonus, typically around 10%
