Overview
A mid-sized accounting firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Partner specializing in High Net Worth clients. This remote or hybrid role offers an opportunity to provide strategic tax planning, advisory, and compliance services to clients with an average net worth exceeding $10 million. The position includes a clear path to partnership with equity compensation.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to high net worth individuals, families, and related entities.
- Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns and projections.
- Develop and implement tailored tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
- Stay current with developments in tax law and regulations to ensure compliance and offer proactive advice.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding unique needs and delivering exceptional service.
- Collaborate with partners and team members to ensure coordinated client service.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to firm growth by identifying new business opportunities and participating in marketing initiatives.
- Apply expertise in trusts, estates, and wealth planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree in Taxation or CPA designation highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role focused on high net worth individuals, preferably within public accounting or law firms.
- In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax law, tax planning, advisory, and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide practical client advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $200,000 - $350,000 per year
